Beholding God and being thereby transformed — that is the romance and the adventure of the Christian life.
The name of this blog (“With Unveiled Face”) is a reference to 2 Corinthians 3:18, a passage which I happen to find extremely powerful on many levels. Wrapped up in this verse are two very significant themes: the unspeakable joy of beholding God’s glory in Christ and the unimaginable grace that transforms us thereby. This blog in many ways is my attempt to come to grips with these two magnificent truths. As I am enabled to see more clearly God’s glorious perfections in the face of Jesus Christ, I realize that one cannot behold such a sight and remain unchanged. Thus, through this blog, I hope to explore what exactly it means to be transformed by seeing the God of Glory “with unveiled face.”
